Sai SatCharitra Chapter 15 - Hindi Audio Video

Shri Sai SatCharitra Chapter 15 video Hindi part 1

This video is the part of Shri Sai Satcharitra - Hindi Audio Video

The sacred text Shri Sai SatCharitra chapter 15. There is a weakness that enters into many devotees mind. They prefer not read Sai Satcharitra saying, “Oh i know it!” In the original verse by verse Sai SatCharitra it Hepadpant urges, “Be kind, O listeners! Meditate for a moment on your Guru and listen respectfully the story by giving me your full attention. Please do not say with disdain, “Oh, don’t we know You full well!

This chapter also points out that more one reads Sai SatCharitra with love and devotion, stirs the compassionate heart of Sai and one is aware of more and more of Sai’s love.

This chapter deals with a story of One Mr. Cholkar a very poor man. How he prays during a kirtan to Sai Baba, takes a vow. How Sai Baba let him know, that he was aware of his prayer and vow, and He is always ready to respond to prayers coming from heart.

Das Ganu was instrument of Sai Baba’s love and grace. He sung bhajans in praise of Sai Baba and other form of Gods, in kirtans conducted in various towns, villages and cities. He dressed very simply, the crowd that gathered to listen to his kirtans were huge due to Sai’s grace. The simple dress he wore has and interesting story behind it.

Once Das Ganu had to perform the bhajan singing in Shirdi. He dressed himself in angrakha (a long, outer-frock like garment for men), an uparni (a decorative cloth piece) on shoulder and a turban on head. Quite pleased with himself he went to Sai Baba for obeisance as was the custom in Shirdi.

However Sai Baba did not approve of his highly fashionable attire that adorn his body, while he sung the glories of God, Saints and Guru. Dressing in this manner pleased Das Ganu, however the Guru had something else in store for him.

So he herd Sai Baba remark, “Bravo! You are indeed, decked out like a bridegroom! But, so adorned, where do you proceed?”

Das Ganu replied that he was going to perform kirtan.

Sai Baba further said, “Why this angrakha? Why this uparna, this turban? What for, all this effort? These things are not for us! Take them off before me right now! Why carry burden on your body?”

Das Ganu’s love and respect for Baba made him immediately do away with the adorning attire and then onwards, while performing kiratns Das Ganu wore simple attire. With bare healthy looking body, chiplis in hands, plain dhoti around his waist and a garland around his neck.

This Cholkar was very poor and attended a Kirtan performed by Das Ganu. Dabholkar describes many kind’s of listeners of the kirtan. Their likes about various aspect of kiratan like singing, looking at the performer how he gets absorbed while singing the name of God, how he dances enraptured narrating the stories of God’s and saint. Some have inclination towards parables and fables that comes in the later half.

Hemdpant says out of these types there are many listeners. But it is hard to find a class of listeners in whom faith and devotion to God or saints grow steadily as they listen.

The faith and devotion grew in Cholkars heart and mind. He was struggling with problems of money. He said to himself, “O Compassionate Baba, please look after this meek helpless creature". “Baba mine is poor household, my entire dependence being on getting job. But to be permanent in job, this exam must be passed. With great diligence and hard work I have prepared for the examination, all my reliance being on passing it. Or else I’ll lose my job as probationer, too.

“If I pass this examination, i will humbly present myself at your feet and distribute sugar-candy in Your name. This is my firm resolve!”

This vow he took and to his great joy his wish was fulfilled. As he was poor the vow completion was delayed. So to atone for it he gave up sugar, from all food. So much so that he took his tea also without sugar.

He knew, he would require money for journey, moreover he could not go to Baba empty-handed. So he kept postponing the  Shirdi visit with painful waiting.

After some days passed in this manner the time came for Chlokar to visit Shirdi. Cholkar prostrated at Sai Baba’s feet and was filled with satisfaction and joy. With heart so purified he distributed sugar-candy in the name of Baba. He offered coconut to Baba and said, “Today, all my heart’s desire has borne fruit.”

Since he was Jog’s guest, naturally he had to stay at Jog’s house. When Jog got up his guest got up too. Baba then said to Jog, “Serve him cups full of tea, with well sweetened sugar.”

Listening to this secret of him, Cholkar was deeply moved. He again made a prostration at this all knowing sage.

Then there is a very unusual story of 2 lizards. Listening to sound of lizard, a question was asked to Baba, who was sitting at His usual place in Masjid (Dwarkamai) whether the chirping of lizard was auspicious or inauspicious.

Sai Baba answered that the lizard was chirping because her sister from Aurangabad was coming to meet her. This put every bodies mind in awe. Aurangabad was about 200 kilometer away from Shirdi. How would a lizard come there to meet her sister. But everybody knew that many a time Baba’s answer were difficult to understand, but would the answer would reveal in time to come in most unusual manner.

A trader from Auragabad came, he suddenly pulled out a horse's mouth bag, from under his arm and shook it vigorously to clear the rubbish. As he dashed the bag to ground turning it inside out a lizard drop from it.

Baba then said to questioner, “Now keep an careful eye on her! This indeed, is the sister of lizard. Just watch the marvel!”

The lizard aimed towards the chirping lizard. After so many days the two sister’s were meeting. They hugged and embraced and kissed each other on the mouth. It was unique celebration of love!

This chapter also says that those who reads this chapter with reverence, or makes repeated reading of it regularly, will be free from all obstacles by Gururaya.
Om Shri Sai!

Sai SatCharitra Chapter 14 - Hindi Audio Video

Shri Sai SatCharitra Chapter 14 video Hindi part 1

Shri Sai SatCharitra Chapter 14 video Hindi part 2

This video is the part of Shri Sai Satcharitra - Hindi Audio Video

Shri Sai SatCharitra Chapter 14 has story of Ratanji Shapurji Wadia who had no son. There were many and are many parents without any child. Sai Baba’s compassion and grace allowed them to have this gift of a child. This chapter of Shri Sai SatCharitra gives story of such wealthy and pious Parsi man, who was gifted with much wealth, honor and health.

This gentleman was grounded in spite of all his wealth, and spent much time in good work and with good company. His centered attitude towards life made him looked much satisfied. His friend Das Ganu, a very close and loved devotee knew that he lacked a child. The love of a child, child playing around in his home were apart from all the wealth good pious and saint loving people lived.

Das Ganu having been with Sai Baba. Had seen and felt many of miraculous powers of Sai Baba suggested him to visit Shirdi. Have darshan of this great sage and win His grace for a child or children.

Ratanji followed Das Ganu’s advice and visited Shirdi. He had the darshan of Sai Baba and with faith and devotion with clean heart He prayed to Baba, “ When people are in trouble, they come to Baba’s feet and He protects them immediately. This what i have heard. Hence i have come to see You with an ardent wish, which i shall respectfully relate at your feet. Please do not turn me away, O Maharaj.

Sai Baba asked first for Dakshina. He said, “Do not worry, needlessly! your misfortune is on the wane from hence.”

He gave udi-prasad to Ratanji as he always did with all His beloved devotees. Placed His hand of benediction on Ratanji’s head and said, “Allah will fulfill your heart’s desire.”

Later on, with suitable passage of time. Ratanji’s family tree began to spread and blossom, being laden with sons and daughters. Ratanji’s wish was satisfied. Thereafter He continued to visit Sai Baba and had His darshan.

Four out of twelve sons survived, and lived a happy life. The even tempered and centered Ratanji accepted willingly and without a slight trace of complain or regret, what had been ordained by faith.

Why Sai Baba asked for Dakshina, how he would ask Dakshina is also discussed in this chapter.

There is an interesting question asked by the Hemadpant in this chapter, “Why this book (Sai SatCharitra) about Sai Leelas? And the answer comes from the devotee is equally nice and true. He says, It is Sai who got written it through me, and He alone knows the purpose.” Great indeed. He adds, “To write such a book requires spiritual authority. And i am but a servant of Sai, who keeps these records by His commands. I am only the slave of His commands.” The love for His Guru as the Guru should be loved comes out of his heart.

Later he adds something very true and what many have experienced about Shri Sai SatCharitra. This is no mere Life-Story; it is a store of happiness. The sweet nectar of salvation, which can be enjoyed only by the most fortunate one who has faith and devotion.

Om Sai Ram.

Sai SatCharitra Chapter 13 - Hindi Audio Video

Shri Sai SatCharitra Chapter 13 part 1 video

Shri Sai SatCharitra Chapter 13 part 2 (Hindi) video

This video is the part of Shri Sai Satcharitra - Hindi Audio Video

This Chapter 13 of Sai SatCharitra contains a story of Sai Baba’s compassionate nature.

A person name Bhimaji Patil, once a well to do, healthy and happy man, was struck by the destiny. He got enfeebled by tuberculoses. Greatly he suffered physically.

He was greatly troubled in His mind. The suffering of the body was getting beyond all endurance. Propitiations of God, exorcising - everything was tried: the doctors and the vaidyas, they had given up all efforts.

He was distressed; his days seemed numbered. He now got weary of consulting astrologers and exercisers. Doctors and hakims treating him came to their wit’s end. No one could do anything. All their efforts failed.

Bhimaji Patil cried out in anguish, “Help me, O Narayana!” And when God heard Patil’s anguished cry for help, he was at once moved by compassion! And Bhimaji suddenly got an urge to write of Nanasaheb Chandorkar, a close devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba.

Even in the rotation of the wheel of Fortune there seems to be a Divine Plan. To all the good actions and bad, it is God who holds the string. It is He who preserves and He who destroys. He alone is the doer.

Patil wrote to Chandorkar, “I am tired of medicines. I am really fed up with this life, itself! The world, to me, seems so cheerless and dreary! As for me the hopes are sunk to their lowest. And so,  it is strong desire of my heart to meet you, with the utmost certainty.”

On reading the letter Nanasaheb’s heart was filled with sadness. Deeply touched with compassion, He wrote, “I suggest you only 1 remedy. Hold fast to Sai Baba’s feet! This is the only Ultimate remedy. For He alone is our Father, our Mother!

When even a dreaded disease like leprosy is cured by His mere darshan, what of tuberculosis? Have no doubt. Go and catch Sai’s feet!

Whatever anyone asks Him for, He always gives it to him. This is His promise, to which He is bound. So I say, don’t waste any time for Sai’s Darshan.”

Patil’s cart comes near a square near the Dwarkamai and thence to it’s front door. 4 people boar Bhimaji on their hands and brought him in the compassionate lap of Dwarkamai and right in front of the compassionate dweller Shri SatChitAnand Sai Baba.

Nanasaheb and Madhavrao Deshpande were there too. On seeing Patil Baba said, “Shama, how many more thieves are going to burden me with?” What, is his right on your part?”

Bhimaji lowered his head towards Sai Baba’s feet and said, “Baba have merci on me, this friendless destitute. Protect me O Dinananath (lord of poor).

Sai Baba was moved by the piteous call and in that moment Bhimaji knew that he will be relieved from his sufferings. Sai Baba the ocean of compassion, was deeply touched and said with a smile. “Rest assured, give up all anxiety. The moment you put your foot in Shirdi, your sufferings have ended. “You may be up to your neck in the sea of obstacles, you may have sunk deep in the sea of sorrow and suffering, but know, that he who climbs the steps of mosque (Dwarkamai) will enjoy greatest happiness.

“The fakir of this place is very kind; He will eradicate your disease and pain. He who has compassion for all, will look after you very lovingly. Hence you rest assured. Stay in house on Bhimabai. Go now and in a day or 2 you will get relief.”

As he herd the words coming from Sai Baba’s mouth, Patil felt a great relief. The relief of a one with no hope of survival suddenly getting under a flow of life giving nectar.

The mouthfuls of spittle of blood that occurred every 5 minutes subsided as he sat in the divine loving company of Baba. Baba did not ask for the cause of the disease nor did he examined the patient as doctors do. He knew everything and His loving glance and grace were enough to take out the disease from it’s very root.

Baba sent for the udi (sacred ash) of which little he gave to Bhimaji, smearing little on his forehead. He then placed his hand of benediction on Patil’s head.
Bhimaji feeling a bit more energetic, he was commanded to move to the lodging. The lodging that Baba suggested was narrow dark and wet. No normal person on the face of earth would suggest a sick person to Bhimaji. There were many more drier, spacious and cleaner lodging available for Patil. Baba has suggested that place and that was important. The place mentioned which came from Baba’s mouth could not be changed for any other place.

Bhimaji spread two sacks on the place over which was laid the bedding. Putting his mind at rest he slept. At the same night it happened that he had a dream, in which appeared his teacher and started beating him. With cane in his hand he started beating severely almost breaking his back, so as to make him learn by heart some prakrit verse. It created great agony for Bhimaji.

Then he had another dream, stranger and more painful. An unknown gentleman comes and sits on his chest. He starts grinding his chest with a stone roller, literally making his chest a grinding stone. The pain caused to Patil was intense. At moments Patil thought his life itself has leaped out his mouth and was on the way to heaven.

The dreams ended and he felt asleep. Next day as he woke up the feeling of unwell has vanished altogether. As he met Baba, the flood gates of tears of joy and gratitude were open.

Sai Baba’s wonderful ways are incomprehensible.

This and other stories of Sai Baba where Sai Baba recommended some out of the world remedies for diseases to many devotees, which worked better than any doctors could have done, are narrated in this chapter. Sai Baba who could read the cause and pointed to remedies. Often checking faith of devotees and increasing the same.
