Shirdi Railway Station
After long long awaiting, Sai Baba devotees now has access to travel to Shirdi by train. Earlier the devotees and visitors for Shirdi had to alight at Kopergaun Village or Manmad Railway station and travel by Taxi to Shirdi.
But now they can directly reach Shirdi. Moreover Sri Sai Baba Sansthan Shirdi will be providing free bus service from Shirdi railway station to the accommodation provided by Sansthan. Also senior citizens and handicap will have facilities for traveling from railway station to Shirdi.
For those traveling to Shirdi by Rail can have a look at the station, where they will be landing and soon have darshan of Shirdi Sai Baba.

These are two videos with the famous Bhajan Reham Nazar Karo ab more Sai Lyrics, which was written and composed by Das Ganu Maharaj. He was instrumental in spreading the name of Shirdi Sai Baba. The song was composed when Sai Baba moved around and sported in physical body on the sacred land Shirdi. Sai Baba himself would love to listen to this song.

Saibaba TV serial first episode
I found the first episode of Sai Baba television serial aired on Star Plus channel of Star Tv network, produced by Ramanand Sagar Group. The episodes are uploaded in 10 minutes video clips, so i made a playlist and am posting the same here.
Moserbaer video has released the first volume of Cd and Dvd. Sai Baba's tv serial produced by Shri Ramanand Sagar group has long been awaited by many Sai Baba devotees. Since last year many subscribers of this blog has inquired for the same through mail. Sadly television serial so popular was not available on Cd or DVD. Now the devotees can buy the first volume and hope other volumes are released soon on CD and DVD for home viewing. The price of DVD is Indian Rs. 1999/- and the VCD priced at INR 900/-. In the begining Shri Ramanad Sagar gives a nice talk about Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi. He says Sai Baba was a spiritual phenomena that happened. Talking about Him would be like showing a small lamp to describe Sun. The Sun exist and there is no need to prove the existence of Sun. The presence of Sun itself speaks.
Sai Baba did not start a sect or religion. Does not have a spiritual heir. Sai Baba did not form a new religion. He advocated love and compassion. Human is the link between the animal and God or divine. Human can fall to the state of animals or rise to the consciousness of compassion and divine. Humans have both the possibility and capacity. It is up to us to what direction we work and strive for.
Where was Sai Baba born, which year He was born. In which caste and religion He was born ? Nobody, no researchers can answer those question with authority. When the same question was put in front of Sai Baba in Shirdi, He never answered that.
Sai Baba was first seen in Shirdi as a bright and sacred teen in Shirdi. Since the earlier years and life of Sai Baba does not have any authoritative source Ramanand Sagar says He does not feel it to show the same in the Tv serial.
However i like to read the earlier life of Sai Baba on the following source. It is a part of biography of Meher Baba called Lord Meher written by Bhau Kalchuri lovingly called Bhauji. One can join live chat with Bhauji every Sunday. Those chats are wonderful for spiritul seekers.
Divine incarnations like Shirdi Sai Baba comes to the earth with a divine purpose and divine goal.
Saints are compassion incarnate. They do not destroy the sinner but with the love and compassion transform them. The evil doers are changed to constructive work. Just as the tree gives fruits t the one who throws stone at them they are such. Just as earth converts filth and decay into life giving force Saints and Sadgurus converts to negative sides of people into positive one. Such is Sadguru Sai Baba of Shirdi.
Ramand Sagar says many books have been published about Shri Sai Baba. But there are 2 major books first on is Sai SatCharitra written through Govindrao Dabholkar and Baba called him Hemadpant.This book was writen with permision and blessings of Sai Baba in Shirdi.
When Hepadpant asked for the permission to write the stories of Sai Baba through Shama. Sai Baba replied
"Let him make a collection of stories and experiences, keep notes and memos; I will help him. He is only an outward instrument. I should write Myself My autobiography and satisfy the wishes of My devotees. He should get rid of his ego, place (or surrender) it at My feet. He who acts like this in life, him I help the most. What of My life-stories? I serve him in his house in all possible ways. When his ego is completely annihilated and there is left no trace of it, I Myself shall enter into him and shall Myself write My own life. Hearing my stories and teachings will create faith in devotees’ hearts and they will easily get self - realization and Bliss; let there be no insistence on establishing one’s own view, no attempt to refute others opinions, no discussions of pros and cons of any subject."Second one Diary written by G.S Khaparde. One can download the book in Doc format or pdf format from Saileelas.org, there are many more books of Sai Baba of Shirdi available for free downloads on the site. Khaparde had a habit of writing a diary. He would note down the important events that happened everyday in a diary. This he did while his more than two months in Shirdi with Sai Baba also. That part has been published by Sai Baba sansthan Shirdi, One can buy it online from Sansthan's website, there are more books available at subsidized rates.
Sai Baba sometimes used to tell His agony to close devotee. A very meaning ful one and the one which has gone deep inside the blog writer. Sai Baba used to say
"People come here to ask for material wealth, wife and kids. But what I want to give nobody asks that from me. I am tired. I will wait for some more time here and I will leave this body."
Both Hemadpant and Khaparde has written that in early 90's Sai Baba's name and fame had spread far and wide across the country. Devotees from all parts of India were flocking to the Shirdi. Their love for Sai Baba was such that Aartis were performed in morning, afternoon, evening and night. Processions were taken out while His daily activities like Lendi (morning) and Chavdi (night when every alternate day He went from Dwarkamai to Chavadi for sleep) as shown in the title song of the serial.
Many matrial riches were offered to Sai Baba by His devotees. Yet He never showed any interest in them. His life remained simple as that of beggar. His pillow remained a brick. His clothes He was reluctant to change even when they were tattered. He begged from Five houses in Shirdi. Rich dishes offered by rich visitors remained untouched by Him and he would preferred to eat dry bread offered by poor devotee but with intense love for Him.

Saibaba TV serial song - Sacred ash Udi
This song is from the popular Television serial Sai Baba aired on star tv channel of star tv network, produced by Ramanand Sagar group.
This one is nice melodious song showing some characteristics of Sai Baba of Shirdi. At the start and the end of the video clip is shown Sai Baba's control over fire. Sai Baba had lit a fire in Dwarkamai where He spent most of His life in the sacred land of Shirdi. The fire is named Dhuni Maa. Maa means mother, Even Dwarkamai has Mai in the end which means mother. Often Sai Baba has said that Darkamai is compassionate mother and whoever climbs it's steps and seek refuge will be saved by the compassionate mother.
Same way about Dhuni Maa the sacred fire, He said that it burns the sins and bad deeds of the devotees. Dhuni Maa is there to protect the devotees and to those who seek refuge. Sai Baba used to distribute the sacred ash from produced from Dhuni Maa. He called it Udi (Ask for free Udi from Shirdi). In Sacred text Sai SatCharitra one often reads then the devotee left with Udi and blessings. All the devotees visiting Sai Baba would get the prasad of Udi.
Many devotees were given Udi and advised to mix it with some water and drink. On acting on the advice the devotees would find the miraculous effect of the Udi. Udi has been proved beneficial in getting free from physical ailments as well as other emotional, social and mental problems the humans face at different points in life time.
Sai Baba when sported in Human form Himself would apply Udi to many devotees, with His sacred hands. The pressure of His hands with which He applied the Udi was different on each devotee according to the devotees problem as stated by devotee interested in spirituality, who closely had watched Sai Baba applying Udi to many devotees.
Factual stories of Sai Baba even says that Sai Baba to very few devotees even slapped them hard after applying Udi. The result of the slap was that the devotees receiving the slap got free from long stubborn physical or social ailment. Sai Baba even used anger along with foul language to make them free from problems.
Since the perfect Master Sai Baba had control over all level of consciousness, that anger and fould language was used on, to drive away the evil and negative energies that caused the problems to the devotees.
Sai Baba's factual stories also describes His control over the five elements. Once Sai Baba roared in a thundering voice to the on pouring rain which had flooded the land of Shirdi. As soon as Sai Baba's tundering command was delivered the dark dense clouds dispersed and the rain stopped.
Similarly once when many devotees were sitting in Dwarkamai, suddenly the fire of Dhuni Maa got enraged and the devotees got scared and did not know what to do. Sai Baba just asked raging fire to calm down and it happened immediately. This has been dramatized and shown in the video clip.
Another such incident was when Sai Baba lit the lamp of water, which burnt all night. It was after this miracle that the people of Shirdi started treating Him with respect. Earlier there where only very few to do so. Sai Baba then known as a mad fakir used to beg for oil, which was used to light lamps with wicks. Once the grocers who supplied Him with the free oil decided not to give Him any oil. It happened. The mad Fakir returned least perturbed.
The human curiosity led them to hide and watch, what the mad Fakir would do that night without the oil ? What they saw changed their minds and attitude towards the mad Fakir forever. The Fakir as usual got up. Took the vessel in which He used to beg for oil. He drank some water from water pot and spit the same in the oil vessel. Taking the name of God, He put the wicks in earthen lamps pour the water in it and lit them. To the amazement of those who watched this, the lamps remained lit all night long.
Thus the mad Fakir was not treated as Mad but as a Fakir who had amazing and miraculous powers.

Sai Baba of Shirdi Short animated film
This is a short animated film made on Shirdi Sai Baba. Kids or Children will love to watch this animated film. The title given on the you tube is Mythology, which does not look appropriate. Another small mistake is about the date of Mhasamadhi (leaving of His physical body) of Sai Baba which should be 1918 and not 1980.
Other wise the video is well made for general viewing with good back ground music of the famous bhajan Sainaath tere hazaron haath.
The stories includes that of Sai Baba's earlier appearance in Shirdi as a young boy. Chandbhai Patils story described in chapter 5 of sacred text Sai SatCharitra. Reaching the Khandoba temple withmarriage procession and His naming by Mhalsaapati . His earlier stay under neem tree (gurusthaan) and then making the Dwarkamai his home.
Sleeping on the brick as pillow is mentioned shortly. Sai Baba's message of the divine riches far better than worldy riches is mentioned. Mention of His well versed in Vedas and Koran is made, yet they forgot to mention that Sai Baba never read any book for the same. Knowledge flowed from Him from the oneness with the supreme divine.
Also the mention is made of How he mixed with all people regardless of their social poitions or caste and creed and made them feel He was one among them. How He loved children and played with them as a child would do, even making the mischief's that the children do :).

Shirdi Sai Baba Bhajan Sandhya-New Delhi
This is a very good video from Shirdi Sai Baba Bhajan Sandhya-New Delhi bhajan sandhya by sai seva dal, Lajpat Nagar, The bhajans are sung by Saxena Bandhu. There are two Bhajans Sai Sai Ram Om Sai Ram and Sai Baba meri Rakhsha karna.
Once when i was siing on the Masjid Mai there was a man sitting by my side. After much time he began started talking with me. He talked how Shirdi is getting crowded (this is some 5 years back). He told me He could give bath to Sai Baba's idol some years back and Sai Baba's devotees were allowed to do the same. After few echanges of talks he gave me his card. He was one of the bothers for the famous singers Saxena Bandhu.
